Take a stroll with staff horticulturist to discover a deeper appreciation about the plants in the garden.
Oct 5: Wild and Wicked – See what plant killed Lincoln’s mother and flowers used in organic pesticides.
Oct 12: Forage Free! Edible lawn and garden weeds.
Oct 19: Pioneer Kitchen and Prairie – meet at Gray/Campbell Farmstead.
Oct 26: Trees of Use – nuts, bark and berries used by humans and wildlife.
$5/person pay at the gift shop. Meets at Botanical Center except 10/19.
