Getting Around the Gardens

Tuesday, 17 August 2010 13:23 Written by Administrator

First time visitors to Nathanael Greene/Close Memorial Park describe it as an unexpected experience.

With 114 acres - 59 in Nathanael Greene and 55 in Close Memorial and demonstration gardens, these parks are unique to the Springfield-Greene County Parks Board system. The parks contain 2.8 miles of hard-surface walking trails (not including the Mizumoto Japanese Garden, which also features a hard-surface trail).  Once you've arrived at the parks, use these features to enjoy them to their fullest.
