DESCRIPTION:Free Event\nFamily Friendly\nFree Popcorn\nRecycling Education & Activities will take place before the screening. \nSpringfield Environmental Services is very excited to screen Wall*E\, a family-friendly movie that tackles the topic of waste for kids and adults alike. \nWall*E was hand-selected by Springfield Environmental Services staff as an opportunity to briefly discuss the topic of recycling\, our landfill\, and composting while enjoying a movie with friends and family in the park. \nThe film will begin at sundown\, but education\, activities\, and popcorn will all be available prior to the screening. \nAbout the Film:\nIn the distant future\, a small waste-collecting robot inadvertently embarks on a space journey that will ultimately decide the fate of mankind.\n———————————\nThis movie portrays a unique and eccentric perspective on the topic of plastics in our global society and is presented for the purpose of stimulating discussion in our own community.
