SUMMARY:Potting Shed University – Can Lawn Be Grown Guilt Free?
DESCRIPTION:The Master Gardeners of Greene County is proud to announce eight new Potting Shed University classes for 2020. All eight classes will be held on Monday evenings from 6:00pm – 7:00pm at the Botanical Center\, beginning on February 10\, 2020 and running through March 30\, 2020. The fee for all classes is $5 per class; please pay at the door. Registration begins at 5:30pm. For a list of the 2020 classes\, visit our Potting Shed University web page and mark your calendar to invest in gardening skills for life! \nThe March 2 session on Guilt-Free Lawn Growth features Joe Fearn\, Drury University Head Groundskeeper: The typical modern American lawn is the dominant component in most residential landscapes. No matter what your level of commitment\, a lawn demands significant time and resource devotion. An avid pursuer of sustainability\, Joe feels that any yard can be managed to decrease resource consumption while still achieving satisfactory results. Joe combines extensive training and experience with hard earned shovel knowledge to promote a new landscaping approach.
