Roston Native Butterfly House
Hours: 10am-6pm (sometimes to 7:30pm; call 417-891-1515 to confirm)
Springfield is extremely fortunate to be home to Missouri’s only native butterfly house, thanks to the vision, dedication and hard work of Dr. Roston, who turned a childhood love of butterflies into a place to inspire the same among the thousands of children who visit each summer. Today, his work is carried on by Dr. Chris Barnhart from Missouri State University and a dedicated group of volunteers and interns.
Mizumoto Japanese Stroll Garden
