SUMMARY:Potting Shed University - Introduction to Plant Propagation
DESCRIPTION:The Master Gardeners of Greene County is proud to announce eight new Potting Shed University classes for 2019. All eight classes will be held on Monday evenings from 6:00pm – 7:00pm at the Botanical Center\, beginning on February 4\, 2019 and running through April 1\, 2019. The fee for all classes is $5 per class; please pay at the door. Registration begins at 5:30pm. For a list of the 2019 classes\, visit our Potting Shed University web page and mark your calendar to invest in gardening skills for life! \nThe February 18 session on Plant Propagation features Brandon Barnhart\, Master Gardener:  Would you like to know how to turn one tomato plant into ten? Brandon will show you the basic principles of cloning plants through cuttings\, proper tool use and help ID plants that can be easily cloned. Brandon successfully clones 300 to 500 tomato plants annually for Grow Well Missouri Springfield’s seed and plant distributions to local food pantries.
