A Springfield history lesson
This document resides on our server so people with an interest in the history of the park might have a little more information on the Kickapoo Prairie and how it is associated with Nathanael Greene Park and our own native plant Kickapoo Edge Prairie Garden.
It mentions the Kickapoo Prairie which according to a Missouri Prairie Foundation member extended to the approx. northern fence line of Nathanael Greene Park, just north of the Gray-Campbell Farmstead the Kickapoo Edge Prairie Garden.
